Rarámuri Chorus will sing the Mexican National Anthem prior
FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO 2016™
A total of 26 Rarámuri girls and teenagers– from Yermo and Parres Communities in Carichí, Chihuahua– will perform the Mexican National Anthem at the Opening Ceremony of the Main race to take place on Sunday, October 30 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. Citibanamex, Fundación CIE, Fundación del Empresariado Chihuahuense, A.C., Fundación Grupo Bafar, and Fundación Patrimonio Indígena MX–chaired by Miguel Bosé– will make possible the participation of the chorus at the event aiming to show Mexican indigenous communities’ richness and cultural heritage through the music. And at the same time, this performance will give an example of how indigenous cultural manifestation are harmonized and adjusted to Mexico’s ordinariness nowadays. During their visit to Mexico City, members of Rarmuri chorus will live an unforgettable experience by being received by Adrián Fernández, besides hanging out with Esteban Gutiérrez within the framework of of FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MEXICO 2016™, as well as attending an amusement park, museums and the theater production “The Lion King”. The performance of Rarámuri chorus- during which they will be wearing beautiful flowered suits especially made by indigenous artisans for the occasion– directed by Master Odilón Chávez, Mexican producer, composer and orchestrator whose most representative project is the musical group, Angeles Azules’ symphonic concept. Culturally, Rarámuris share taste for singing, festivities, game, sport and speed. This last, given their daily interaction with the environment of far places distributed in valleys, rivers, mountains, canions and clifss surprisingly high located in the Sierra Madre Occidental. With its foundation and as a part of its Social Responsibility activities, Corporacion Interamericana de Entretenimiento (CIE) – recognize in this area for 10 consecutive years– it implements actions aimed at common good among the different vulnerable segments of the population.To download high definition pictures click on the following link:
