La Carrera Panamericana joins the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO 2018™
- The FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICOTM welcomes “The Ultimate Road Race” as a support event at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
With less than 60 days to go to the FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DE MEXICO 2018™ the organizers have announced that La Carrera Panamericana will feature as a support race to the Grand Prix.
La Carrera Panamericana is an icon of classic international motorsport and proud of Mexico and its heritage. The race was created to celebrate the inauguration of the Pan-American Highway in 1950. It quickly gained international recognition and has attracted the attention of speed lovers to Mexico, such as Juan Manuel Fangio, Clay Regazzoni as well as David Gilmour and Nick Mason of Pink Floyd. For the first time (and just two weeks after they complete this year’s event), over X cars/these cars will bring their unique brand of racing to the F1®ESTA in a practice session, qualifying and a race.
