Following the recent announcement of his departure from the European Union and after the early elimination of Euro, Silverstone comes as a new hope for English pride. In recent weeks England has starred in multiple headlines for different reasons. While announced that the country will soon cease to form part of the European Union - a situation that will impact their economic and political situation - the sporting aspect the England soccer was eliminated from the European Championship just in the second round by Iceland - an opponent who had never attended such competition. That said, the Silverstone Grand Prix - to be held this weekend - represents a golden opportunity for both England and his compatriots, show what they are made.
