During the pre-season tests, we could witness Mercedes AMG Petronas cars and drivers performance, however it is too soon to be 100% sure of what will happen in Melbourne the next weekend.

Team Mercedes has made optimistic and confident statements, they know they have a reliable power unit and extraordinary drivers, an even though they had some difficulties with the same, and the chassis, they achieved the best performance during the tests in the whole pre-season.

The rest of the teams are aware of Mercedes advantages, but each team trusts in their efforts to pursue the championship.

Lewis Hamilton is thankful to the team, and wants to lead the car, showing its performance once again for this 2015, though he is aware of the hard competition it means. He stated he is in good-shape, calm, positive and ready. He trusts in the strength that comes with the experience.

For Nico Rosberg this will be his sixth year in the team. He is proud to work with selfless and passionate people, he also knows it is the driver’s job to make a valuable effort and give their best on the track. He wants the team to be proud of his effort, obtaining good results. His biggest competition and motivation is Lewis himself, and knows he has to get over it to be the champion.
