Masters Historic Racing organizers, leaders in historical car racing, have been chosen by Corporación Interamericana de Entretenimiento (CIE) and Formula One Management (FOM) to organize the supporting race for the FORMULA 1 MEXICAN GRAND PRIX 2015® to be held from October 30 to November 1, in the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
One week after United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, where Masters will display an spectacular grid of 38 historical cars, the FORMULA 1 MEXICAN GRAND PRIX 2015® will provide a new platform to exhibit 70´s and early 80´s F1 cars pictures and sound.
After the supporting race’s success at Formula 1 in Canada and Singapore, the opportunity of to produce a new race in the renewed Mexican circuit, which hasn’t held a Grand Prix in the last two decades, is now a special invitation received from CIE and Formula One Management.
The entry to the race will be open to both, Masters USA and FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship cars, both categories are well known for owning original Formula 1 cars from two of the most iconic decades in motoring sports.
Being invited by Formula One Management to organize a new supporting race for the Grand Prix is a great honor for the Master Historic Racing, since this reinforces our capability as organizers and reflects the quality of all supporting race we have conducted, thanks to the big support from our competitors.
