Hamilton gets his fourth pole in Malaysia consecutively, after a strong fight against Raikkonen and the Red Bulls of Verstappen and Ricciardo. On the other hand, Vettel, who had a great Friday and was supposed to be a strong contender for pole position, had a disastrous day during qualifying due to failures with the engine of his Ferrari, which in his words described as "I feel I do not have turbo ", which led him to remain in the last position of the starting grid.
