NO ONE GETS HURT

AT MEXICAN GRAND PRIX

Thanks to its studied tenacity, under that commitment that is indeed exemplary: Nico Rosberg has saved furniture from the catastrophe of finishing in second place during the Mexican race –the number nineteenth of world championship- behind his teammate and frenzied rival, Lewis Hamilton. On a test whose main feature consisted on each one taking care of their own. Ten seconds of trench between victory and having someone reaching his back, has shown how calmed the so promised brawl has been. The Englishman was content only with scratching some points for him and he’s just gotten them. The German is prepared to finish second, racing all competitions needed to be crowned. And beware if someone is out of the script, because they could pay a high price. This was made really clear to Max Verstappen who added excitement to the highest Grand Prix level in the world: since his dangerous and unnecessary game has given him five cruel seconds of penalization at the final time scored, with that he gives up a podium he had worked for during seventy turns, this is, nearly one and a half hour at full speed. He slipped and finally finished fourth on the final list upon arrival to the finish line. Under the same frame, what has been punishable, Sebastian Vettel that was in fourth place aboard his Ferrari: For judges at their desks, he had been granted with a promotion that was worth its weight in gold, then he steps the podium as the fifth at issue; a few minutes later and after pseudo-deliberations of commissioners: a 10 seconds punishment is imposed to his time scored, consequently after had finished third at the end, he officially falls to the fifth position. Ya se sabe que “del plato a la boca, se puede caer la sopa”. In summary, he has finished in third place, the Australian Daniel Ricciardo from Red Bull who confirms even more his third position on the Standing. The race was good and came off without a hitch, although it can be denied that fans feel hungry for more, and for that, they’ll have to be patient since Rome was not built in a day. It is true that a bigger number of local drivers were expected. But there is a rule of life that says that when something can’t be done, it can never be done, period. Sergio Pérez with Force India finished in the tenth place when receiving the checkered flag, after the unsuccessful persecution to Felipe Massa with his Williams that took a dozen of laps. Esteban Gutiérrez, could barely finished in nineteenth on board his mediocre Haas’ car, one place over his colleague Romain Grosjean, is something to cry about... To take a look to what is left of 2016’s competition suffice to say that Rosberg keeps leading the board, with 349 points over the 330 points reached by Hamilton. Competitors of the World Championship will face each other again in Brazil in two weeks. And it seems that tournament will be beheaded to Abu Dhabi on November 27. The most obvious question you may ask yourself should be who will be the champion this season? And I speak the total truth when I say that winner will be: anyone who does not make the big mistake.
