In a tense Q3 session at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, George Russell shone once again and secured pole position for the Canadian Grand Prix. With a lap time of 1:10.899, he edged out Max Verstappen in the Red Bull by 0.160 seconds, while Oscar Piastri completed the front row for McLaren, 0.221 seconds off the Briton.
Just behind the top three, Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) delivered an impressive performance to take fourth place, followed by Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) in fifth.
