Hamilton’s resounding victory
A FORMULA 1® race will never let down the most faithful lover of this sport. Tests that pass untasty for others, the one who seeks –because is fascinated about vertigo and its constraints – finds a lot.
Besides Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull cars which are recognized powers, Force India drivers have scored points. It is no small deed, with
Sergio Perez (10th) reaching his first GP centenary.
Williams which was one of the biggest expectation, to the extent that it frequently stopped at the pits, had to abandon with one of its cars; casually with
Felipe Massa’s car who was the only one who had scored in the 100% on chances during the season. On the other hand:
Valtteri Bottas reached the dreamed podium.
Max Verstappen (4th) made a simply spectacular race; that sealed with Golden brooch despite the Nico Rosberg’s actions. It is no longer a promise, the young Dutch, has become a glaring reality. And the most surprised should be his colleague
Daniel Ricciardo (7th) who succumbed again to his teammate.
The two Haas missiles finished again. It is true they did it without points, but both are much better than: Sauber, Renault and Manor. With a ‘plus’
Esteban Gutierrez (13th) with a better end than his teammate,
Romain Grosjean (14th) .
The so expected rain never showed up. Several cars were subject to adjustment to face other climatology. And failed …
The race could have been a little flat at the final Stint, where
Lewis Hamilton (1st) tires were expected to open, and never happened. Thus, the big loser was
Sebastian Vettel (2nd) from Ferrari, with the aggravating of a bad strategy which was the same cause of (Pit Wall’s) death. Going back to the podiums as the second place, with the chronology comparable to the Silver Arrows, is something admirable about the ‘Tetra’.
The start was fantasy all along the Canadian Grand Prix, which was well seen, with extraordinary flats.
There were three moments that were worth to see: when redlights went out, the persecution after the Red Bull and witness the champion arrival to the checkered flag, remembering
Mohamed Ali: flying like a butterfly sting like a bee.
Of the winner and his teammate there are so much material to fill pages and pages that can be summarized as a metaphor, is the struggle between equals: a king and a prince.
Lewis can’t get enough of hanging out with the greatest of all times, as to what produced by them. And
Rosberg, below the average, with 45 victories against 18 in a decade it says it all.
Just a few weeks ago, the gap distance of points between them was abysmal. This week, it has been reduced due to the pathetic pressured of the # 44 on the # 6.
Hamilton is targeted as a candidate for the new champion.
As soon as he strikes on the table, they all add up. It is with all his faults, a sensational driver that deserves a place. No one gives anything for free. They are 70 laps he gives, and well looked, each of them spectacular and flawless.
